3D coach board
Show a student where and how to hit: a real 3D court — walls, glass, out lines — and shot trajectories computed from ball physics. Build a rally from several shots and send the diagram as a link.

How to use it
Pick a shot from the library — it appears on court with its trajectory, wall contact marks and the ball’s shadow. The next shot continues the rally from where the ball ended up. Tap the floor to move the contact point, the landing spot or the players; use the slider for the height on the front wall. If a shot breaks the rules (tin, out), the board tells you. “Share diagram” gives a link that opens exactly this rally for your student.
Squash court lines and their names
- Out line
- The top line of the front wall, 4.57 m from the floor. A ball on or above it is out.
- Service line
- On the front wall at 1.78 m. Only matters on the serve: the serve must hit above it.
- Tin (board)
- The strip at the bottom of the front wall, 48 cm high (43 cm on the PSA tour). A ball in the tin is a fault.
- Side wall line
- The diagonal on the side walls: from 4.57 m at the front wall to 2.13 m at the back.
- Back wall line
- On the back wall (usually glass), 2.13 m from the floor.
- Short line
- Across the floor, 5.44 m from the front wall. The serve must land behind it.
- Half-court line
- From the short line to the back wall, splitting the back of the court into two quarters.
- Service boxes
- 1.6 × 1.6 m boxes by the side walls behind the short line — you serve from here.
- The T
- Where the short line meets the half-court line — the key position between shots.
All shots with descriptions are in the guide “Squash shots”. Rules step by step — in the course “Squash rules”.
