What squash is
Squash — what the game is
Squash — a racket sport in which two players on an enclosed court take turns hitting the ball against the front wall. Dynamic, intellectual and, according to Forbes, the healthiest sport in the world. The slogan is simple: "once you start, you can't stop".
The rules in brief
Players take turns sending the ball to the front wall so that it touches the floor no more than once before the opponent hits it. The rally continues until someone makes a mistake. Scoring follows the PARS system (a point for every rally), games go to 11 points, and a match to the required number of games won. In detail and with diagrams — in the course "Squash rules", and you can try it right now in the free "Squash Online" game.
The healthiest sport in the world (Forbes No. 1)
In Forbes magazine's ranking of the healthiest sports, squash took 1st place (22.5 points), ahead of rowing and swimming. A single court trains the heart, strength, endurance and reactions at once — about 500 kcal burn in 30 minutes.
Squash and weight loss
Constant movement in an enclosed hall turns the game into interval training: up to 700–1000+ kcal per hour — more than tennis and badminton. People lose weight simply by playing 2–3 times a week and enjoying themselves.
Clearing the mind for entrepreneurs
The ball moves so fast and decisions must be made so instantly that the brain physically cannot be distracted by work — the mind clears completely ("forced mindfulness"). The same skills — decisions under pressure and switching — work in business too.
Networking
Squash has historically been the sport of entrepreneurs and top management. The one-on-one format and the club environment encourage trusting business conversation. In essence, it is self-regulating networking with decision-makers.
Squash for kids
You can start from 5–6 years old. Squash develops hand-eye coordination, reactions, strategic thinking and discipline — a foundation for a sports career and for character.
An Olympic sport
Squash is included in the Olympic Games programme for the first time — Los Angeles 2028. Now it is a path to the Olympics: start now — perhaps you or your child will represent the country.
How to start
