3D squash coach board

3D squash training board · free, no sign-up

Loading the 3D court…

Show a student where and how to hit: a real 3D court — walls, glass, out lines — and shot trajectories computed from ball physics. Build a rally from several shots and send the diagram as a link.

Questions about the board

How much does the 3D coaching board cost?

It's free. No sign-up needed — the board opens right away on a phone or computer.

What can the board do?

It shows 18 shots with physics-based ball trajectories, stroke technique by phase in slow motion (split step, first step, backswing, lunge, contact, follow-through) and footwork — moving from the T to six points on court and back.

How do I send a diagram to a student?

Build a rally and tap “Share diagram” — your student opens exactly that rally from the link.

How do I hide the court line names?

Use the “Line names” button at the bottom of the board or ⚙ “Settings” in the top-right corner. Footprints and speed are there too.

How realistic are the players' movements?

Stance, lunge, split step and backswing are checked against slow-motion footage of pro matches; in the “Pro recording” style the arm and torso on the forehand are taken frame by frame from video.

Squash court lines and their names

Out line
The top line of the front wall, 4.57 m from the floor. A ball on or above it is out.
Service line
On the front wall at 1.78 m. Only matters on the serve: the serve must hit above it.
Tin (board)
The strip at the bottom of the front wall, 48 cm high (43 cm on the PSA tour). A ball in the tin is a fault.
Side wall line
The diagonal on the side walls: from 4.57 m at the front wall to 2.13 m at the back.
Back wall line
On the back wall (usually glass), 2.13 m from the floor.
Short line
Across the floor, 5.44 m from the front wall. The serve must land behind it.
Half-court line
From the short line to the back wall, splitting the back of the court into two quarters.
Service boxes
1.6 × 1.6 m boxes by the side walls behind the short line — you serve from here.
The T
Where the short line meets the half-court line — the key position between shots.

All shots with descriptions are in the guide “Squash shots”. Rules step by step — in the course "Squash rules".
